Food Intolerance UK
Could the foods you eat be causing pain and discomfort?
We can help you stop symptoms that food intolerance and sensitivity can cause.
Symptoms can include:
• Bloating and stomach cramps
• Constipation or diarrhoea
• Tiredness and fatigue
• Unexplained skin rashes
• Candida and yeast problems
• Headaches and migraines
We use a bio-resonance system to run our tests, helping thousands of people all over the UK to free themselves of symptoms which can be caused by food. Read more about bio-resonance here.
Our Food tests are carried out remotely so there is no need to travel. All you do is post a small hair sample and your results will be emailed within 21 days. More information.
To enable you to make an informed decision regarding our tests, please see below for the differences between allergy, intolerance and sensitivity:
What is Food Intolerance?
- This is when your body lacks a chemical or enzyme which is needed for digestion of a specific food.
Unfortunately, the symptoms of allergy’s and intolerance's can be similar, although with an intolerance you may be able to eat a small amount of the offending food without any symptoms.
An example of this is Lactose intolerance, this is the absence of the enzyme Lactase.
What is Food Sensitivity
- There is no immune response with a food sensitivity but you can still get similar symptoms as an allergy or intolerance.
The good news is that often a sensitivity to a food can frequently be eradicated by cutting out the offending food for approximately 4 – 6 weeks.
What is Food allergy?
- Food allergy causes an immune response affecting numerous organs in the body which can cause a multitude of symptoms.
Food allergy, unlike intolerance and sensitivity, can be especially serious and even life-threatening for example, nut allergies.
